Wilson is making his third straight First Team selection, and Collier is making his second consecutive. Wilson is the only player to have made the First Team each of the previous three seasons, along with Stewart. For Stewart, this marks her seventh overall and fifth consecutive First Team honor. She is currently tied with Sheryl Swoopes and Maya Moore for the tenth-most All-WNBA awards ever.
Clark is the first rookie to be selected to the First Team since Candace Parker in 2008 and the first to be selected to an All-WNBA team since Breanna Stewart in 2016. She is the only rookie to ever get the accolade, joining Parker, Diana Taurasi (2004), Tamika Catchings (2002), and Sue Bird (2002).
Liberty standouts Sabrina Ionescu and Jonquel Jones led the Secont Team, and they, along with Stewart, helped New York finish with the league’s top record of 32-8. This is Jones’ seventh overall All-WNBA selection, and Ionescu’s third consecutive Second Team placement, which explains all of her accolades.
In her debut season with the Seattle Storm, Nneka Ogwumike was also selected to the Second Team. She now shares a tie with Stewart, Moore, and Swoopes for the tenth most selections in league history after receiving her seventh overall All-WNBA accolade. Kahleah Copper is making her debut appearance, while Arike Ogunbowale is making her third.
Each member of the All-WNBA First Team will get $10,300 for their achievements, while each member of the Second Team will receive $5,150.
